NAVISTAR is hiring (Part-time) Material Handlers to join our Midwest Parts Distribution Center in Joliet, IL.
This position is responsible for ensuring the proper parts are shipped to get our customers' trucks back on the road.
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Shift: Monday through Friday. Part time shifts can vary (total of 6 hours per day)
Pay: $18.90/hr. Sign-On Bonus of $500 after 120 Days of Employment
Responsibilities- Receiving, binning, picking, packing and shipping customer orders in a safe, productive, and error free manner
- Operate various equipment at high altitudes including Order Pickers, Reach Trucks, Stand-Up Dock Trucks and Sit-Down Forklifts
- This position requires you to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, and includes climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping, walking and standing for long periods of time
- All employees must wear safety shoes and approved eye protection
- High School Diploma or GED
- Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Navistar does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status).
- Must wear safety shoes and approve eye protection
- Operate an electric stock chaser with training
